We are seeking a skilled Academic Copy editor for a leading scientific publisher. In this contractual role, you will be responsible for editing accepted research papers and academic content while upholding exceptional editorial standards.

Your Responsibilities:

• Copyedit manuscripts to enhance clarity, accuracy, and consistency in language.
• Make necessary adjustments to align with the journal's style guide.
• Engage deeply with academic content to ensure high editorial quality.

What We Are Looking For:

• Native-level English proficiency and a solid grasp of language and grammar rules.
• A Master's degree, PhD, or professional qualification in Life Sciences or Physical Sciences.
• Prior experience in copyediting academic/research papers or professional experience in the related fields.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Familiarity with academic research paper style conventions (e.g., UK vs. US English, reference styles, standard style guides such as AMA and CSE).
• A strong commitment to delivering quality work on time.
