Online Teaching, Tutoring
You have worked through the difficult problems. Now apply that ability where it matters most: with gifted students who can compete, advance, and succeed.
GT School is designed for families seeking more than satisfactory report cards. We develop gifted learners through genuine challenges: national and international contests, transparent results, and accomplishments students can take with them. This position is critical because our mathematics program succeeds only when students emerge from sessions more capable, more confident, and prepared for competitive conditions.
This is not a standard tutoring position. You will facilitate live virtual workshops that challenge high-performing students, deliver focused contest preparation for competitions such as AMC and AIME, and develop reusable resources that elevate standards across GT Anywhere and GT campuses. If you enjoy converting potential into documented results and can communicate advanced concepts with precision, this role will suit you well.
If you possess a genuine track record of mathematical excellence and wish to help develop the next generation of competitors, we want to hear from you.
What You Will Be Doing- Develop and conduct 2–4 live virtual domain workshops weekly that cultivate competition-level mathematical reasoning
- Provide 1:1 or small-group coaching for particular contests through mock examinations, timed exercises, and comprehensive analysis
- Identify weaknesses quickly and build individualized development plans aligned with each student's objectives and scheduled competitions
- Monitor advancement using a structured math development framework and modify teaching methods based on data
- Produce original, challenging problem collections and modular instructional materials that other teachers can deploy at scale
- Provide general homework assistance or grade-focused tutoring without defined, quantifiable results
- Conduct conventional classroom-format lessons that end at the standard curriculum
- Offer unstructured problem solving with no strategy, no assessment cycle, and no competition trajectory
- Rely on duplicated or low-quality materials that fail to meet competitive mathematics standards
Key Responsibilities
This position ensures gifted students reliably achieve quantifiable, competition-level mathematics outcomes that GT School can recognize and families can depend on.
Basic Requirements- Demonstrated elite mathematical accomplishment (e.g., Olympiad medal, AIME qualification, top national ranking, or equivalent verifiable record)
- Minimum 6 months of teaching, coaching, or mentoring experience with documented outcomes
- Capacity to communicate advanced mathematics in a clear, accessible manner to gifted young learners
- Comprehensive knowledge of math contest structures, content, and preparation approaches (e.g., AMC, AIME, Olympiads)
- Effective virtual teaching presence and capability to maintain student engagement over video
- Availability for 5–10 hours per week
- Dependable internet connection and a professional video configuration
- Current, ongoing participation as a competitor, coach, or competition-oriented content developer
- Background in creating reusable instructional libraries, problem collections, or curricula for other educators to implement
- Documented student achievements such as qualifications, rankings, medals, or other recognized competitive results

Their personalized approach accelerates learning - 2-6 times faster than traditional classrooms. GT School students explore their passions, develop critical thinking skills, and learn to innovate.
