Summary ofJob Duties
The Online Student Coach’s primary responsibility is to provide student support coaching services for current online students. This position is to provide continued top tier student support services for online students at the University of Arkansas. The Online Student Coach reports to the Online Student Coaching Coordinator and plays a key role in retaining online students.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
- The formal education equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in public administration, general business, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Sociology, Social Work, or related human services field
- Experience using software to document and monitor ongoing services
- Experience working with non-traditional, off-campus, or online programs and students
- Experience with the University of Arkansas student support systems and resources
