Scholarship Process Improvement Coordinator

The Scholarship Process Improvement Coordinator supports the university’s scholarship and enrollment management efforts by leading process optimization and system coordination for UA Foundation–funded scholarships. This role works at the intersection of Financial Aid, the UA Foundation, OIT, and campus partners to ensure scholarship funds are awarded efficiently, equitably, and in alignment with donor intent and institutional priorities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing scholarship lifecycle management—from fund categorization and application configuration to awarding, disbursement, and quality assurance.
  • Managing applicant pools and supporting scholarship committees.
  • Coordinating system testing and training for Banner and scholarship platform accuracy.
  • Monitoring acceptance and over‑award risks.
  • Providing data‑driven recommendations to improve award rates and reduce un‑awardable funds.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Eligibility:
Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction. Visa sponsorship is not accepted.

This is a full-time, term‑funded, exempt staff position complete with a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including retirement options, annual leave, 12 paid holidays per year, tuition waivers, and affordable medical, dental, and vision care coverage. New hires will be placed on the UA Staff Salary Schedule, Grade 79, based on education and experience.

Initial applications will be reviewed beginning February 2, 2026. Following this initial review, applications will be considered on a rolling basis until a successful candidate is selected.
