Special Education Teacher in Dillon, SC

A PreK Special Education Teacher opportunity is available at a K-12 school located in Dillon, SC. This contract position offers the chance to work with young learners in a self-contained setting, supporting students with special needs in a PreK classroom as well as high school resource and self-contained environments.

• Managing a PreK caseload with 3-4 year olds in a self-contained classroom
• Providing instruction and support to high school students in special education resource settings (approximately 22-25 students)
• Potentially covering a high school self-contained classroom with about 10 students
• Meeting physical demands including lifting as required in the classroom
• Collaborating with school staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

• Active South Carolina Teaching License with Multi-Category and Early Childhood endorsements
• Experience in special education, particularly with preschool and secondary students
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt instructional strategies to individual student needs
• Strong communication and organizational skills
