You've tested your own limits—whether in competition, performance, or professional achievement. Now you're prepared to channel that discipline into meaningful impact. At GT Anywhere, you'll serve as an academic advisor helping students accomplish something remarkable: genuinely enjoying school, accelerating their learning, and developing into independent, capable individuals. You'll work remotely from any location worldwide.
GT Anywhere operates as a virtual academy for gifted learners seeking accelerated progression. We combine AI‑driven curriculum with personalized coaching to provide what conventional education systems cannot: unrestricted learning pace, rigorous exploration across STEM and liberal arts, and connection with intellectual peers. In your role as an Academic Advisor, you'll support students in grades 3–8 who are ready to advance rapidly.
Content instruction isn't your responsibility—our technology manages that aspect. You're the mentor who cultivates confidence, maintains high standards, and helps young learners understand their true potential. Each conversation carries weight. Each milestone matters.
If you've reached elite performance in any domain—athletics, creative arts, research, or commerce—and now want to guide emerging talent toward similar achievement, this position is designed for you.
What You Will Be Doing- Conducting biweekly one‑on‑one virtual coaching sessions with each assigned student, concentrating on academic planning, motivation strategies, and mindset development
- Hosting open "office hours" sessions where students can access immediate support, encouragement, or problem‑solving assistance
- Leveraging AI‑powered tools and progress dashboards to monitor student advancement, recognize obstacles, and refine your coaching methods
- Recording observations, concerns, and tactical adjustments to keep every student moving along an accelerated growth path
- Working alongside your team to exchange effective practices, raise urgent issues, and continuously refine the coaching framework
- Instructing lessons, evaluating assessments, or distributing assignments—our platform manages the academic content
- Presenting lectures or adhering to a predetermined syllabus
- Supervising or excessively monitoring unmotivated students—we coach with purpose, not constant oversight
- Attending redundant meetings or navigating administrative red tape
- Operating in maintenance mode—this team exists for individuals committed to high performance and meaningful results
Key Responsibilities

- Comfortable using dashboards and tech tools to track and adjust performance
- Ability to maintain at least 80 percent overlap with US business hours
- PhD in any field
