Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a School Psychologist to support students from preschool through 12th grade in the Sacramento, CA area. This contract role offers a hybrid work schedule, combining in-person and remote responsibilities, with exact hours to be determined. The position spans two school sites located in the Rio Vista zip codes of 94571 and 95641.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to support student learning and development
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and behavioral interventions tailored to student needs
- Interpret assessment results and communicate findings effectively to stakeholders
- Foster a positive school environment that promotes mental health and academic success
Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with preschool-12+ student populations
- Strong knowledge of state and federal educational laws and regulations
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with diverse teams
- Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion
