DKC Group is seeking enthusiastic and experienced Spanish Instructors to join our expert language talent network. In this role, you will teach Spanish to adult learners, business professionals, university students, and youth learners seeking to build and strengthen their proficiency in the Spanish language.
This is an on-demand contract-based opportunity, with teaching assignments aligned to active client engagements and program needs.
The ideal candidate will possess native or near-native fluency in Spanish, strong conversational proficiency in English, and a demonstrated passion for helping learners succeed. While instructional materials and curriculum frameworks may be provided, instructors are expected to deliver dynamic, learner-centered lessons that develop grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversational fluency. Responsibilities include leading engaging activities, facilitating discussions, and adapting instruction to meet diverse proficiency levels and learning styles.
The goal of this role is to foster a welcoming, interactive learning environment that builds confidence and supports meaningful communication in Spanish. The strongest candidates will be compassionate, creative, adaptable, and committed to making language learning engaging, practical, and impactful.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver engaging, interactive Spanish language instruction to business professionals and individual learners in hourly or contract-based programs.
- Teach Spanish grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and conversational skills aligned to learners’ proficiency levels and program objectives.
- Incorporate real-world and professional scenarios to help learners confidently apply Spanish in business and everyday settings.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that encourages participation, curiosity, and cultural awareness.
- Facilitate structured speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities that promote active communication and critical thinking.
- Accurately record attendance and maintain required instructional documentation.
- Assess and document student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to support continued improvement.
- Adapt instruction to diverse learner needs, learning styles, and program formats (virtual or in‑person, as applicable).
- Collaborate with fellow instructors and program staff to ensure consistency, quality, and a supportive learning experience.
- Represent DKC Group with professionalism, enthusiasm, and integrity in all client‑facing engagements.
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- 3–5 years of teaching experience, preferably in adult education, language instruction, or professional development settings.
- Native or near‑native proficiency in Spanish with strong verbal and written command of English.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Spanish as a second or foreign language.
- Ability to adapt teaching style to varied proficiency levels and instructional materials.
- Experience teaching adult learners or at the higher education level preferred.
- Solid understanding of language acquisition principles, instructional methodologies, and classroom management best practices.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, reliable, and enthusiastic, with a genuine passion for language education and cultural exchange.
- Candidates will be required to prepare and deliver a 15‑minute demo lesson demonstrating instructional effectiveness, organization, engagement techniques, and ability to connect with adult learners.
