Founded in 2007, Resolution has a proven model for identifying and inspiring young leaders through Social Venture Challenges (SVCs) and awarding Resolution Fellowships.
We partner with organizations that serve broad communities of young leaders. These young leaders, university students, are an underserved population for social entrepreneurship opportunities that go beyond business plan competitions.
We invite young leaders to propose impactful social ventures in a multi‑stage competition, the SVC, which includes both an online, written component on our proprietary platform, and a physical presentation to a live panel of judges.
We award Resolution Fellowships to those young leaders with the most promising social venture proposals and compelling personal leadership characteristics.
We support our Fellows through the intense, hands‑on mentorship program which includes seed funding, assigned one‑on‑one mentors, access to subject matter experts and pro bono services, and membership in a connected community of their peers.
The impact of activating potential young leaders through social entrepreneurship is enormous; they become engaged early in making positive changes in the world and the character of their leadership is infused with social responsibility.
Do you have a social issue that you're passionate about? Do friends or colleagues seek you out for professional/career advice?
Resolution Guides support general venture launch, implementation, and sustainability while advising Fellows on future career plans. Volunteers are paired with the team of their choice, and will have a partner as they mentor a Fellow team. Don’t worry if you're not an expert in the field your Fellow is working on, learning is part of the journey! Who will you inspire?
