Online Course Delivery Manager

As an Online Course Delivery Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for all online instructional activity within the Carson College of Business, including both masters and undergraduate business programs delivered through WSU Global. This position is responsible for leading the planning, coordination, and execution of faculty recruitment, hiring, training, evaluation, course scheduling, and instructional delivery processes, as well as engaging faculty in important marketing and recruitment.

Serving on the CCB Graduate and Online Programs team as the central point of leadership for cross-functional teams, the manager collaborates across the WSU system with academic departments, the Carson Center, distance campus business directors, Global Campus, fiscal services, enterprise systems, publishing representatives, marketing and communications, and enabling partners to ensure high-quality, compliant, and scalable online offerings.

Monthly Salary: $4,943 - $6,912 | Commensurate with experience and qualifications. In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in a field related to the functional managerial area which has included at least one (1) year of supervisory experience. Any combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis. A Masters degree may be substituted for up to one year of the required experience.
  • Strong written and verbal intercultural communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with others from diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
  • Progressive experience leading academic program operations, faculty coordination and training, or online education initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex, multi-term instructional systems.
  • Expertise in quality online higher education program delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing, tracking and reporting program data.
  • Experience in student academic support programs.
  • Demonstrated experience working independently, but within a collaborative team environment, and ability to establish priorities and follow up in a timely manner.
  • Experience designing and delivering pedagogical training.
  • Master's degree and experience administering large scale online programs.
