• Valid teaching certification in Visual Impairment, Hearing Impairment, or related area
• Experience working as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing or Teacher for the Visually Impaired
• Familiarity with virtual instruction platforms and adaptive technology tools
• Prior experience supporting K-12 students with sensory impairments is strongly preferred
• Compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to individualized education
• Strong communication skills, both with students and collaborating with school teams

• Provide engaging virtual instruction in reading and math for a fourth‑grade student for 30 minutes each daily session
• Collaborate and consult with district personnel and families to support the student’s IEP goals
• Deliver innovative assistive technology instruction approximately one hour per week, maximizing the student’s access to the curriculum
• Maintain detailed records of progress and participate in virtual meetings as needed
• Adjust instructional strategies based on ongoing assessment and student needs
