Job Summary

St. Paul School is seeking applicants for a part-time Physical Education Teacher for K through 8th Grade. This position is one day (2 afternoons) per week for the  school year. The scheduled afternoons for this position are Tuesday and Thursday.

Job Responsibilities
  • Planning and delivering PE/Health lessons, providing instruction, and completing grading.
  • Model and promote Catholic values in interactions with students, colleagues, and families.
  • Promote teamwork, respect, safety, and positive sportsmanship in all activities.
  • Maintain equipment, ensure safe use of materials, and create an organized learning environment.
  • Assess student progress through participation, skill development, and effort.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support student growth and classroom expectations.
  • Participate in school activities, events, and faith-based practices as appropriate for part-time faculty.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Kinesiology, or a related field.
  • Teaching credential or certification appropriate for physical education (preferred).
  • Experience teaching or coaching children, preferably in a school setting.
  • Ability to model and support Catholic values within the educational environment.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
