Northwood University’s DeVos Graduate School of Management has an immediate need for qualified faculty to teach in our DBA, MBA and MS programs. The position will involve classes on the Midland, MI campus and online. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated ability to teach business strategy and marketing on multiple platforms, including discussion‑based classroom meetings during the day and evening as well as within an online learning environment.

Willingness to embrace our unique problem‑based pedagogy is essential to achieve the transformational competencies that DeVos Graduate School students accomplish. Additional opportunities may exist to serve as Dissertation Committee Members and Chairs.

Teach business strategy and marketing courses in DBA, MBA, and MS programs on campus and online.

Facilitate discussion‑based classroom meetings during the day and evening and online learning environments.

Embrace and implement the problem‑based pedagogy to support transformational competencies of students.

Potentially serve as Dissertation Committee Member or Chair.

• A Ph.D. or DBA in a business‑related discipline from a regionally accredited institution with substantive academic or professional experience in Marketing and/or Business Strategy.
• Experience serving as DBA/PhD Dissertation Committee chair and/or committee member.
• Experience designing, developing, and implementing graduate level courses.
• Understanding of LMS systems, especially Blackboard.
• Preference is given to those who have extensive business, consulting, and online teaching experience as well as the relevant degree.
• Comfortable facilitating problem‑based learning and learner‑centered classrooms.
