This is a full‑time, tenure‑track position for the 2026‑2027 academic year. The successful candidate will contribute to innovative and collaborative learning experiences that optimize student success and will be compensated with an annual salary of $86,631.

- Create and facilitate contextualized and integrated learning experiences in Nursing linked to career goals.
- Create authentic assessments of students’ knowledge, skills, and abilities in Nursing measuring course, program, and college‑wide outcomes.
- Apply multiple teaching and learning strategies that promote affective, cognitive, and kinesthetic domains of learning.
- Provide online, hybrid, and face‑to‑face learning utilizing a learning management system.
- Use local, state, and national data and analytics to continuously improve student success strategies.
- Mentor students on academic pathways and courses needed to reach academic goals.
- Use a wide range of learning resources, tools, and technologies to improve access and student success.
- Serve on committees that support shared governance of the college.
- Engage in strategic and operational planning to meet standards for improvement set by the Revised Code of Washington, the Washington Board of Nursing, and the National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation.
- Collect and analyze local, regional, and national data relevant to nursing education and student professional success.
- Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited college or university. Individuals with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing who are currently enrolled in a master’s program are encouraged to apply, but a master’s degree in nursing is required prior to award of tenure.
- Current unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in Washington upon hire.
- Three years of clinical experience.
- Demonstrated success in working collaboratively with other individuals, teams, committees, and departments.
- Meet clinical agency requirements, including background clearance and immunizations.
- American Heart BLS Health Care Provider Cardholder or willingness to obtain prior to the first day of classes.
- Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) certification or willingness to obtain within three years.
- Demonstrated experience or participation with persons from diverse backgrounds and commitment to an inclusive and equitable working/learning environment.
