Part-Time Chemistry Adjunct: Teach In-Person or Online

Adjunct Faculty – Chemistry (Position Number 282A0000). Organization:
Piedmont Virginia Community College (Div).

Location:

Albemarle – 003. Pay:
Salary commensurate with education and experience.

Employment type:

Part‑time (course‑by‑course, semester basis). Telework: subject to change – may be remote instruction on some occasions.

Teach developmental and/or college‑level chemistry courses. Courses may include distance‑learning classes, taught during the day, evening, weekdays and weekends. Primarily face‑to‑face instruction with possibility of remote instruction.

• Master’s degree in chemistry or master’s degree plus 18 graduate hours in chemistry.
• Minimum two years teaching experience.
• Work experience in the field of chemistry.
• Experience with online teaching.
• Expert skills, knowledge, experience and education in chemistry and a history of successful teaching.

Open to qualified adjunct faculty. Position is non‑sponsored; candidates requiring immigration sponsorship will not be considered.
