The UC academic salary scales set the minimum pay  current full-time salary range for this position is $70,977-$199,722.

Anticipated start:
Positions usually start in June, August, and January.

The College of Chemistry at the University of California, Berkeley invites applications for a pool of temporary instructors to assist in teaching graduate courses online for the Master of Molecular Science and Software Engineering (MSSE) Program.

The MSSE Program seeks candidates who support the success of all students through inclusive curriculum, classroom environment, and pedagogy.

• Basic: A bachelor's degree (or equivalent international degree) or enrolled in a bachelor's degree program.
• Additional (required at time of start): A bachelor's degree (or equivalent international degree) and authorization to work in the U.S.
• Preferred: A master's degree (or equivalent international degree) in an area related to computational science, computational chemistry, bioinformatics, data science, high performance computing, mathematical modeling and simulations, or software engineering.
• Proficiency in C++ and Python programming languages.
