Position Title
Adjunct Instructor – TROY 1101
Position TypeAdjunct Faculty (non‑tenure track, Adjunct APT, temporary)
Job SummaryAdjunct faculty members are employed to provide specific courses on an as‑needed basis. Contracts for adjunct faculty members are issued on a semester/term basis. Adjunct Instructors hold the responsibility for the management of courses taught and are expected to be available for a reasonable amount of time for each course taught to counsel students regarding course work.
Minimum Qualifications- Master’s Degree in the teaching discipline, or Master’s Degree with a concentration (minimum of 18 graduate semester hours or 30 graduate quarter hours) in the teaching discipline from a regionally accredited institution (for undergraduate positions).
- Terminal degree in the teaching discipline from a regionally accredited institution (for graduate positions).
- Previous online teaching experience with Blackboard learning management system.
- Teaching experience in a traditional classroom environment.
- Prior professional experience in the field or a related field.
Class schedule and office hours will vary per term.
