As a Learning Architect - Fellow, you will be responsible for all aspects of training delivery and training content development for EBS products. This role requires immediate readiness to take on responsibilities and deliver results.
Training will be delivered in three methods: in-person class delivery, online class delivery, and self-paced training materials available on demand. Most in-person classes are held at customer sites. You will work with the account teams and learning services operations team to scope out the agenda and schedule training events.
You will work with your colleagues in the training team, customers, sales, product division, and support teams to determine enhancements to existing classes and identify new courses for development. Based on this guidance, you will plan and create training materials for all delivery methods. These courses will be presented not only by you but also by other instructors worldwide. The training materials include lectures, hands‑on labs, and assessments reinforcing learning.
The primary objective of this position is to develop and deliver high-quality training that will increase customer knowledge and drive product adoption at customer sites.
Essential Duties Training Delivery- Be prepared and knowledgeable in the subject matter, the tools, and the training materials.
- Answer student questions professionally, and as needed, note the question, ask the product or support group, and get the answer back to the student promptly.
- Report any items that need action generated during the training event to the product group, support, sales, and Learning Services.
- Review class feedback gathered in surveys or other means and take appropriate action to improve the class materials and your performance continually.
- Update training materials based on the product release schedules.
- Work with the training team to develop the curriculum plan for creating new classes and maintaining existing courses.
- Get buy‑in for your planned training content from other instructors and support from the product and support groups.
- Utilize standard templates and processes (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Camtasia, and AI‑powered processes) to create high‑quality training materials.
- Hold reviews for updates and beta classes for new classes to gather feedback for improvements. Implement the improvements.
- Get involved in the specification and review of materials developed by colleagues.
- Work with the training operations and editing teams to release the training classes.
- Mentor junior members of the team.
- Continue to learn more about methodologies, tools, and new features in your technical expertise area.
- Attend company technical training conducted by the product division to stay technically current.
- Identify opportunities to improve your presentation and teaching skills continually.
- Work with the product and support groups to learn more about the tools and how they are used at customer sites.
- Develop cross‑functional relationships with the product group and support, sales, and various groups in the learning services team.
- Develop and/or deliver training.
- Located in North America region (Remote)
- Up to 40% travel per year (includes international travel)
- BSEE or equivalent field
- Strong knowledge of adult learning theory and experience in technical training development, preferably in a technical environment.
- Minimum of 2 years customer facing experience required
- Must possess time management, communication, interpersonal, verbal, listening, problem‑solving, troubleshooting, decision‑making, and organizational skills.
