DIRECTOR OF ONLINE ENROLLMENT
California State University, Los Angeles, invites applications for the above Administrator III position.

The Position:
The Director of Online Enrollment, reporting to the Dean of the College of Professional and Global Education (PaGE), provides executive leadership for the design, launch, and scaling of LA Online, Cal State LA's new, institutionally owned online learning and enrollment enterprise. This role leads the development of an internal Online Program Management (OPM) model, aligning academic innovation, enrollment growth, and student success for online degree, certificate, and extension credit programs serving adult and mid-career learners.
The Director is responsible for the end-to-end online enrollment lifecycle, including market intelligence, portfolio strategy, digital marketing, recruitment, admissions coordination, onboarding, retention, and re-enrollment. The role partners closely with academic colleges, central enrollment units, academic technology, IT, institutional effectiveness, and student services to ensure a cohesive, data-driven, and learner-centered online experience. This position oversees multiple functional teams, manages internal and external vendors as needed, establishes performance metrics and dashboards, and develops sustainable financial and operational models to support long-term growth and quality.
Required Qualifications &
Experience:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university. Minimum of seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in online enrollment management, higher education marketing, recruitment, admissions, or related fields. Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end online enrollment operations, including marketing, recruiting, and retention. Experience working across academic and administrative units in a complex higher education environment. Incumbent must demonstrate an interest or ability in working in a multicultural/multiethnic environment.
A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with the CSU. California State University, Los Angeles, as part of the CSU system, is a State of California Employer. Qualifications:
Master's degree or higher. Senior-level experience with online or adult-learner programs. Experience building or operating an internal OPM or hybrid OPM model. Advanced experience with digital marketing, CRM platforms, enrollment analytics, and marketing automation. Experience managing vendors while building internal institutional capacity. Demonstrated success using data to drive enrollment growth, improve retention, and enhance the student experience.
Compensation:
Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Salary range is $6,891 - $22,119/monthly. (Budgeted Hiring Salary Range $12,500 - $14,583/monthly) A comprehensive benefits package is provided.
Appointment:
The Administrator III appointment will be made under the guidelines for management and supervisory employees of the California State University. All rights and benefits associated with this appointment are governed by the Management Personnel Plan.
