If the degree is in a related field, at least 18 hours of arts management-related graduate coursework is required. The successful candidate for the rank of assistant professor will have 3-5+ years of experience in the music business/industry, arts management, or a closely related field which can include a combination of teaching arts management and/or music industry courses on a college level and management experience in the professional field.
