Exciting contract opportunities are available for skilled School Psychologists dedicated to supporting students in Pre-K through 8th grade. Candidates will play a pivotal leadership role on multidisciplinary diagnostic teams, guiding the evaluation process from start to finish, as well as leading and scheduling eligibility meetings. Strength in MTSS problem-solving and experience coordinating initial evaluations are essential. Successful candidates should demonstrate comprehensive expertise in student screening, consultation, and implementing effective intervention strategies.

Key

Qualifications:
  • Valid School Psychologist certification or license (Illinois).
  • Experience working with Pre-K-8th grade populations.
  • Proven ability to lead and coordinate eligibility meetings, including scheduling and documentation.
  • Skilled in MTSS problem-solving processes within school settings.
  • Ability to carry out and schedule initial psychological and educational evaluations.
  • Demonstrated leadership, collaboration, and communication skills on multidisciplinary teams.
  • Competencies in assessment, screening, consultation, and intervention planning.
Core Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a key member of the diagnostic team, assuming leadership functions.
  • Organize and conduct eligibility meetings for student support services.
  • Actively engage in MTSS processes, collaborating on problem-solving and interventions.
  • Complete and oversee initial student evaluations as required.
  • Consult with teachers, families, and staff to develop and implement support strategies.
  • Offer expertise to promote positive student outcomes and overall well-being.
