278 VA Shared is seeking a full-time Special Education teacher for the Virginia Virtual Academy (VAVA). This remote position strongly prefers candidates residing in Virginia and offers a base salary of $50,000 along with eligibility for a performance bonus. The teacher will deliver course content, monitor student progress, and collaborate with various stakeholders in an online learning environment.
Key qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and an active Virginia Special Education Teaching Certificate. Experience with online teaching and technology are preferred. This role includes responsibilities such as differentiating instruction and maintaining communication with students and families.
