School Occupational Therapist - Millsboro, Delaware

Engage in a rewarding contract opportunity providing occupational therapy services to K-6th grade students during the  academic year. You'll spend two full days each week delivering direct therapeutic services, reserving an additional half day for team meetings and student assessments.

Key

Qualifications:

• Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) preferred; highly skilled COTAs will be considered
• Active or pending Delaware OT license required
• Experience in school-based settings, particularly with K-6th population, is a plus
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities to engage with students, staff, and families
• Flexible and comfortable providing both direct services and participating in IEP meetings/testing

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based OT interventions for students in-person (with possibility for virtual by August)
• Assess, document, and report student progress consistent with school requirements
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams for holistic student support
• Participate in and contribute to IEP meetings, evaluations, and progress reviews
• Adapt therapy strategies for diverse learning and developmental needs
