** POSITION SPECIFICS
** The Bennett Family Center, on the University Park campus, is seeking a candidate for an Early Childhood Development Educator – Intermediate Professional (working with children 6 wks to 3 years old) committed to the process of creating and providing high quality learning environments for young children and families. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Supporting and maintaining high quality classroom standards in a laboratory setting
* Coordinating and implementing an innovative curriculum model with a team of colleagues
* Establishing and maintaining relationships of cooperation and respect with all co-workers, supervisors, and families
* Providing oversight and training of interns and student teachers in early childhood education undergraduate programs
* Maintaining standards in accordance with National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accreditation and PA Keystone STARS 4 quality standards
** Clarification of minimum requirements:
** This position minimally requires a Bachelor's degree plus 1 year of relevant experience.
** MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
** Bachelor's Degree1+ years of relevant experience; or minimum of Child Development (CDA) Credential; see Commonwealth of Pennsylvania PA Career Lattice information and NAEYC guidelines for typical experience and education requirements

** This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check, and the National Sex Offender Registry Clearance (NSOR). ** The salary range for this position, including all possible grades, is $34,800.00 - $50,500.00.
