Virtual Teacher – Grades K-8

The School District of Onalaska is seeking two visionary, student-centered educators to serve as the founding faculty for Ona Online. This inaugural role offers the unique chance to build the foundation of a new K-8 virtual community. The part-time position is ideal for tech-savvy educators dedicated to building strong family partnerships and creating personalized learning paths.

The Virtual Teacher serves as the primary point of contact for students and families, acting as both an instructional expert and an operational guide. The mission is to ensure a seamless educational journey by managing the student lifecycle—from initial onboarding to academic mastery.

• Facilitation of engaging live virtual classes and delivery of weekly academic instruction tailored to individualized student pacing.
• Regular family check‑ins to foster a supportive home‑learning environment.
• Management of assessments and tracking of academic progress to ensure all students meet high educational standards.
• Oversight of student onboarding and maintenance of documentation for organizational compliance.
