K-12 Summer Camp Coding Instructor
Teaching role for a part‑time summer camp where you will help students in grades K‑12 learn computer programming. You may teach in person in Seattle, WA;
Portland, OR;
Denver, CO; or Austin, TX, or online from the list of virtual camps.
- Conduct half‑day or full‑day coding lessons each week of the summer camps.
- Use the well‑structured, tested curriculum provided by Coding with Kids.
- Prepare lesson plans, manage classroom materials, and adapt the curriculum to individual student needs.
- Participate in live and self‑guided training sessions.
- Collaborate with fellow instructors and receive ongoing coaching and support.
- Maintain a positive, encouraging learning environment for students 5‑18 years old.
- Experience teaching or coaching children or youth in a classroom or group setting.
- Proficiency in coding—any language such as Scratch, Python, or Java is acceptable.
- Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for working with kids.
- Ability to follow the curriculum closely while allowing flexibility for adjustments.
- Base pay: $15‑22 per hour.
- Bonuses: up to $100 per week for completing a full in‑person camp; additional bonuses for strong student conversions and customer feedback.

- Plan instructor schedules for 200+ teachers.
- Scale operations to support expansion into major U.S. metro areas and global online instruction.
- Manage operations from the HQ office in Redmond, WA with remote options.
- Strong background in leading operations in education, technology, or corporate settings.
- Experience with STEM or technology programs.
- High‑level organizational and leadership skills.
Focus on coordinating existing programs, creating new initiatives, and driving company growth.
Responsibilities- Coordinate programs across the United States with regional directors.
- Work on project management, cross‑team coordination, and overall program delivery.
- Ensure timely completion of program milestones and deliverables.
- Experience in project or program management with a focus on results.
