K-12 Summer Camp Coding Instructor

Teaching role for a part‑time summer camp where you will help students in grades K‑12 learn computer programming. You may teach in person in Seattle, WA;
Portland, OR;
Denver, CO; or Austin, TX, or online from the list of virtual camps.

• Conduct half‑day or full‑day coding lessons each week of the summer camps.
• Use the well‑structured, tested curriculum provided by Coding with Kids.
• Prepare lesson plans, manage classroom materials, and adapt the curriculum to individual student needs.
• Participate in live and self‑guided training sessions.
• Collaborate with fellow instructors and receive ongoing coaching and support.
• Maintain a positive, encouraging learning environment for students 5‑18 years old.

• Experience teaching or coaching children or youth in a classroom or group setting.
• Proficiency in coding—any language such as Scratch, Python, or Java is acceptable.
• Strong communication skills and enthusiasm for working with kids.
• Ability to follow the curriculum closely while allowing flexibility for adjustments.

• Base pay: $15‑22 per hour.
• Bonuses: up to $100 per week for completing a full in‑person camp; additional bonuses for strong student conversions and customer feedback.

• Strong background in leading operations in education, technology, or corporate settings.
• Experience with STEM or technology programs.
• High‑level organizational and leadership skills.

• Coordinate programs across the United States with regional directors.
