Take on a pivotal role supporting students across Pre-K through 8th grade with this contracted opportunity for experienced school psychologists near Plainfield, IL. This position offers diverse caseloads and the chance to make a meaningful difference in young learners' academic and emotional well-being. Enjoy a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with the flexibility to work from home one day each week.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:
  • Valid state licensure and certification as a school psychologist
  • Previous experience working with Pre-K-8th grade students preferred
  • Expertise in leading and scheduling eligibility meetings
  • Comfortable taking a leadership position on a multidisciplinary diagnostic team
  • Proficient with Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) problem-solving
  • Skilled in scheduling and conducting initial psycho educational evaluations
  • Demonstrated strength in screening, consultation, evaluation, and intervention practices
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a leader within the school's diagnostic team, contributing to comprehensive evaluations and team-based student support decisions
  • Coordinate, schedule, and lead eligibility meetings for student support services
  • Conduct and oversee initial evaluations for students in need of interventions or services
  • Actively participate in MTSS problem-solving processes, providing targeted consultation and recommendations
  • Employ evidence-based practices in assessment, intervention, and support planning
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to promote positive outcomes for students
