Position Summary
Doctorate in International Psychology Program (Online Campus) seeks qualified individuals to supervise dissertation research studies of doctoral students in a 7‑week course structure via Canvas LMS.
Milestone Dissertation Courses- IP901 - Dissertation Proposal Preparation
- IP902 - Dissertation 1:
Proposal Completion and IRB - IP903 - Dissertation 2:
Data Reporting and Analysis - IP904 - Dissertation 3:
Final Draft Preparation and Defense
- Approve dissertation proposal chapters (1‑3) and committee reader proposals.
- Assist development of oral proposal defense; participate virtually in the defense.
- Help students with IRB application.
- Supervise data collection of research studies.
- Support development of chapters 4 and 5 and final dissertation defense; attend virtual defenses.
- Be online and responsive five days a week during the course of the week.
- Participate actively in discussion forums.
- Post course‑related announcements.
- Grade assignments promptly (quizzes within 48hrs, larger assignments within 3days).
- Provide quality feedback.
- Hold virtual office hours; post a welcome message outlining hours.
- Create and post a video welcome message on Canvas.
- Hold one voluntary conference call or synchronous chat per term (via Zoom).
- Respond to students’ initial forum posts.
- Respond to student emails within 24hrs.
- Issue final grade by Tuesday midnight after Week7 ends.
Complete an 8‑week training course on online pedagogy best practices prior to teaching.
Qualifications- Doctoral degree in Psychology or International Psychology.
- Previous online teaching experience (3 years preferred).
- Exemplary professional experience.
- Research and scholarship engagement (preferred).
