Xavier University is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Director of Regional Recruitment, Chicago to join our team! In this role, you will be instrumental in guiding prospective students and their families through the admissions process, acting as a primary point of contact and an ambassador for Xavier. We are looking for someone with a strong aptitude for sales—someone who can effectively communicate the value of our academic programs and campus experience, address concerns, and inspire confidence.
Exceptional customer service skills are paramount, as you will build relationships and provide personalized support to a diverse range of individuals. The position requires travel for recruitment events, so a willingness to hit the road and connect with future students is essential. This is a remote position, but the candidate must be located in the greater Chicago region. At least five years of college recruitment experience is strongly preferred.
- Travel throughout assigned territory.
- Build relationships with high school students, their families, and high school guidance staff.
- Represent Xavier University in a positive manner.
- Organize and attend recruitment activities in assigned territory, such as college fairs, high school visits, etc.
- Evaluate applications for admission.
- Utilize CRM (Slate) to effectively monitor student and territory performance.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least five years in a similar role with comparable goals and responsibilities.
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Excellent presentation, writing, and analytical skills.
- This is a remote role, but the candidate must be located in the greater Chicago region.
