Job Description and Position Requirements
Conferences and Institutes is seeking Part‑time Youth Program Instructors/Co‑Instructors for the Palmer Museum of Art Summer Camps to be held July 14‑25, 2025.
Along with instructors, Youth Program Leaders are responsible for the supervision and safety of minors participating in this program. This includes:
- Youth compliance policies and procedures
- Emergency response
- Direct communication with Program Director and Program Manager
- Medication collection, storage and verification
- Oversight of participant health information
- Development of instructional content and delivery of lessons and activities
- Monitoring the safety, whereabouts, and actions of participants during program hours, including non‑instructional times
- Identifying and responding to issues concerning participant interactions and behavior
- Acting quickly and calmly with sound judgement in sensitive situations
- Following notification protocols as required
- PA State Police Criminal Background Check
- PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form
- FBI Criminal Background Check
