What You Will Do

• Deliver engaging, high-quality instruction using innovative teaching methods and current industry technologies.
• Maintain compliance with accreditation standards.
• Model the holistic tenets of the nursing profession and uphold the University’s mission and pillars.
• Facilitate meaningful classroom discussions, assess student learning, and prepare students for leadership roles in health care.
• Support program initiatives and demonstrate alignment with the philosophy and direction of the University.
• Provide a positive example by supporting GCU’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission.

• A master’s (or higher) in Nursing or a bachelor’s in Nursing with a graduate degree in a relevant health care discipline. Graduate degree must be from an accredited university.
• Relevant work experience in health care policy, nursing leadership, research, or nursing management preferred.
• Active, current, unencumbered RN license with three or more years of direct patient care nursing experience.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build supportive relationships with students.
• Proficiency in English, grammar, and APA writing.
