JOB SUMMARY

The Sooner Start program is specifically tailored to cater to families with infants or toddlers who have developmental delays. As mandated by the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), the program aims to supplement and provide necessary resources to aid families in augmenting their child's learning and development through routine learning opportunities. The Resource Coordinators are responsible for organizing, planning, and supervising the implementation of early intervention services for eligible infants, toddlers, and their families.

Please note:

This role requires full in-person attendance, with no options for remote work, telecommuting, or hybrid arrangements. The nature of this position necessitates a consistent in-person presence, and candidates should be prepared to fulfill all responsibilities on-site at their designated workplace.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

* Bachelor's Degree in special education, early childhood education, family relations, psychology, sociology, nursing, or a closely related field [official transcripts required upon hire]; OR

* Bachelor's degree and one year of experience in programs serving youth and families may substitute for the specific degree requirements.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

* Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future;

* Successful completion of a pre-employment background check;

* Must possess a valid driver's license from a U.S. state or territory to perform necessary job-related travel.
