We're seeking an Investment Banking Finance Coach who is obsessed with student outcomes and committed to helping ambitious undergraduates break into the most competitive roles in finance. This is not passive tutoring—it's high‑intensity, high‑accountability coaching that transforms potential into tangible offers.
As a coach, you'll deliver 1-on-1 sessions covering behavioral interviews, technical prep (accounting, valuation, LBOs, M&A), networking strategy, and interview execution. You'll work with in our Coaching Pod Model, collaborating with Lead Mentors and other specialists to provide comprehensive, personalized support.
What You'll Do Student Coaching & Mentorship- Conduct 1-on-1 coaching sessions on behavioral storytelling, technical concepts (financial statements, valuation, LBOs, M&A), and interview preparation
- Run technical mock interviews and deal walkthroughs, providing real‑time feedback
- Help students craft compelling behavioral stories and develop their “Why banking?” narrative
- Guide students through networking strategy, cold outreach, and relationship‑building with finance professionals
- Assign prep materials, drills, and “homework” to accelerate learning between sessions
- Track student progress and provide honest, actionable feedback without over‑promising results
- Work within our Coaching Pod Model alongside Lead Mentors, Behavioral Coaches, and Markets Mentors
- Log session notes and next steps to ensure continuity across the coaching team
- Participate in weekly coach meetings and training to maintain quality standards
- Contribute to curriculum development and share best practices with the team
- Potentially lead group coaching sessions, workshops, or bootcamps as opportunities arise
- Push students to meet weekly benchmarks in networking, technical mastery, and interview readiness

- Strong investment banking, private equity, or hedge fund internship or full‑time experience
- Prior coaching, teaching, or club leadership experience
- Deep expertise in technical interviews: accounting, valuation (DCF, comps, precedents), LBO modeling, M&A mechanics, and financial statement analysis
- Excellent communication skills: ability to explain complex concepts clearly and provide constructive feedback
- Extreme accountability mindset: you hold yourself and students to the highest standards
- Availability for evening/weekend sessions to accommodate student schedules across time zones
