About the OpportunityThe College invites applications for a Partner Engagement Manager at the Lizzie and Jonathan Tisch Center for Career Exploration. The role focuses on building relationships with Brown alumni, family community, and employer partners to facilitate internship, job opportunities, mentoring, and professional development for Brown students. The position works collaboratively across campus departments and with the Career Center to align career exploration with the Open Curriculum.
ResponsibilitiesAs a key member of the Partner Engagement team, the Manager will:
- Manage and support events and activities for all partner engagement programs, including employer recruiting and alumni programs.
- Develop and expand employer and alumni networks to increase opportunities and connections for students.
- Administer on‑campus and virtual recruitment events and support new alumni mentoring programs.
- Oversee all administrative operations and communications, including recruiting invitations, job/internship postings, billing, promotion of employer interviews and events, data collection, and budget management.
- Maintain day‑to‑day oversight of alumni/employer systems (Brown Connect+ and Handshake).
- Represent the Center for Career Exploration’s vision, mission, and goals and support overall Career Center initiatives.
- Recruit, train, and manage a network of alumni and family volunteers who serve as mentors and industry experts via Brown Connect+.
- Align employer engagement with alumni and family engagement, prioritizing relationships with employers that have active alumni or family advocates.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in higher education preferred.
- Preferred experience with software systems and/or event planning.

- Demonstrated administrative experience with strong communication, problem‑solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Customer service orientation; preferred experience serving students, alumni, and/or employers.
- Comfort using data and assessment tools to measure the effectiveness of recruiting activities and student career outcomes; ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative data to provide feedback‑informed improvements.
- High level of self‑directed behavior; ability to manage workload throughout the academic/recruiting cycle and find solutions to create office efficiencies.
- Collaborative work style; strong team player, open‑minded, inclusive, flexible, and able to build collaborations with diverse communities.

Additional InformationSome late nights or weekend work may be required depending on event schedules. All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a background check.
