Schedule:

Monday and Wednesday from 1:00 pm-5:00 pm (Morning and evening schedules available)

• Advance student learning through exemplary instruction by following an established course outline
• Assist in student learning outcomes
• Maintain current knowledge in the subject matter area and effective teaching/learning strategies
• Maintain appropriate standards of professionalism and conduct
• Facilitate all required skill labs with an assistant skill instructor
• Grade class assignments and exams

• High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• 3 years of experience in a directly related field
• 1 year of teaching experience preferred
• License/certification associated with Medical Billing and Coding (CPC, CCS, or CMC)
• Adherence to weekly class schedule
• Energetic and able to deliver instruction passionately
• Ability to mentor students and hold them accountable to program standards
• Comfortable with computers and technology
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Resident of California and remote position eligible (must be CA resident)
• Flexible availability for morning and evening shifts
