POSITION SUMMARY
The Online Operations Lead supports and coordinates the day-to-day operations of the school’s online program. This role ensures a smooth and effective online learning experience by managing core processes, maintaining accurate systems and records, and supporting communication between students, families, instructors, and internal teams. The position includes ownership of key workflows and coordination efforts, while program strategy, student intervention, and policy decisions remain with the Dean of Online Learning and school leadership.

- Coordinate daily online program operations, including course setup, enrollment, scheduling logistics, and term-based processes across SIS and LMS platforms
- Maintain accurate student records and ensure alignment across systems, including managing enrollment updates and tracking participation
- Serve as a primary point of contact for student and parent inquiries related to online learning, providing timely support and follow-up
- Monitor student progress and conduct routine check-ins, escalating academic or behavioral concerns to appropriate school leadership
- Collaborate with Counseling, Registrar, IT, Admissions, and Academic leadership to support enrollment, scheduling, and student-related processes
- Coordinate enrollment, communication, and support processes for non-Orange Lutheran (non-LHSOC) students, including single-course and partner school students
- Maintain records and support logistics related to non-LHSOC students, including SIS updates, reporting coordination, tuition tracking support, and exam administration
- Monitor and maintain data related to enrollment, course participation, and student progress, providing routine reports to support program operations
- Support and improve workflows related to enrollment, scheduling, and communication to ensure efficiency and consistency
- Support online program representation at admissions events and school functions
- Assist in maintaining accurate program information across communication channels and coordinating general program logistics
- Represent the mission, vision, values, and educational philosophy within the community and to all stakeholders
- Participate in department meetings, school events, and professional development
- Perform other duties as assigned

Education- Bachelor’s Degree required
- 3–5 years of experience in education, program coordination, or administrative operations
- Cleared Background/Fingerprint check
- Valid CPR and First Aid certifications
- Cleared TB assessment
- Completion of Ministry Safe Training
- Working knowledge of adult learning, teacher professional growth continuums, and processes for reflective practice
- Knowledge of the design, integration, implementation, and management of a school, including curriculum, instructional practices, school operations, management, and leadership development
- School curriculum, as well as the latest research in various content areas
- Knowledgeable about the ministry and purpose of Lutheran education
- Proven listening and interpersonal skills
- A lifelong learner who models intellectual curiosity, self-reflection, and stewardship of talents
- Proven verbal and written communication skills
- Effective presentation skills
- Technologically literate: comfortable writing and presenting material using PC or MAC (including tablets)
- Comfortable leading and facilitating faculty/staff settings for individual and larger group learning
- Strong leadership abilities, including an encouraging, motivating presence to help with conflict management, team building, mentoring and coaching, goal-setting, prioritization, and strategic planning
- Ability to lead and facilitate faculty/staff settings for individual and larger group learning
- Exhibit the highest level of Christian integrity - his/her life reflects Christ-like Morals, behavior, attitude, and leadership
- Ability to articulate their Christian faith and to integrate prayer and the Christian belief system into leadership
