Position specificsPenn State Schuylkill invites applications for a full-time teaching faculty position in Accounting, Business or Marketing, to begin in Fall 2026 or as negotiated. This is a 36‑weeks, non tenure‑line position. This appointment will be filled at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Teaching Professor.
ResponsibilitiesThe successful candidate will teach four courses (12 credits) per semester of undergraduate business or marketing. Successful candidates will be expected to use traditional, hybrid, and online instructional delivery methods. They will also perform scholarly activities such as presenting at conferences, participating in course, curriculum, and program development, and advising undergraduate students. There is an expectation of participation in campus, university, community, and professional service.
QualificationsMS or MBA from nationally accredited Business or Marketing program (AACSB is ideal, ACBSP is acceptable) at regionally accredited university AND either CPA or CMA certification. Ph.D. or DBA from nationally accredited Business or Marketing program at regionally accredited university preferred.
