Position Overview
Our Native and Rural Student Center is seeking an enthusiastic student to help promote academic success student position will work with the Multicultural Services Manager to organize, promote, and facilitate events. This is an opportunity to get involved with the campus community and improve skills and gain professional experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Position DetailsLocation:
UAS campus in Juneau, AK. This is a part-time, hourly student position. New hires will start at $14.38 per hour. This is a pooled position and applications are reviewed as needed. Employees may be required to work on-site at the UA facilities; hybrid and remote work may be approved for employees based in Alaska at the University's discretion.
- Organize, promote, and facilitate events for the Native and Rural Student Center.
- Prior ANDORE dialogue training is preferred but not required.
- Knowledgeable with community and campus resources for students in crisis and related supports.
