Online Program Math Intervention Specialist

About the Position

Opportunity to teach mathematics at a non‑profit public charter school serving grades 7‑12 in Southern California. The role involves classroom and one‑on‑one instruction, data‑driven lesson planning, and student progress monitoring.

• Instruct students in Math within a classroom or 1:1 environment.
• Collaboratively plan with instructional staff to analyze data and implement intervention programs.
• Create reports and use data to plan lessons while monitoring the progress of students receiving intervention services, adjusting instruction and student grouping accordingly.
• Provide support for all levels of mathematics, including upper subject areas such as Statistics and Pre‑calculus.
• Maintain a tracking system indicating student appointment times, progress, and areas of improvement, and meet with students regularly to discuss development.

• California 30‑Day Substitute Teaching Credential or preliminary or clear single‑subject credential.
• Knowledge of scientifically based mathematics instruction for middle and high school students.
• Knowledge of MS Office and/or Google Suite.

Pay Range: $29.71 – $35.43 per hour, depending on experience.

Candidate must reside in Southern California within 150 miles driving distance of an OFL site.
