A specialized opportunity is available for a School Psychologist serving a high school setting with a focus primarily on secondary students and limited elementary caseload responsibilities. This contract assignment provides a valuable chance to apply psychological expertise in an educational environment during the  school year.

Location:

Akron, OH

Duration:
August 26 to October 24

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 2:40 PM



Key Responsibilities Include

• Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations to support student learning and behavioral needs.
• Collaborating with educators, administrators, and families to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
• Providing counseling services and crisis intervention as needed.
• Monitoring student progress and adjusting support plans accordingly.
• Assisting in the development of a supportive and inclusive school climate.

• Valid School Psychologist certification and licensure applicable to the state.
• Experience working within a high school educational setting, with familiarity handling a caseload primarily of secondary-aged students.
• Strong assessment and analytical skills to interpret psychological data and communicate findings effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities within given timelines.
