General ResponsibilitiesThe University of Alabama at Birmingham seeks a Home Visitor-Family Partner for the Early Head Start program. The role provides in-home early childhood education and child development guidance to promote parents/primary caregivers as their child’s first teacher. It also offers case management services to families as needed.
KeyDuties & Responsibilities
Hourly Pay Range: $18.85 – $30.65
QualificationsMinimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, psychology, counseling, social work, or related field with course work in child development required. Work experience and a home-based CDA may substitute for education requirement. Experience in working with children is required. The successful candidate must complete a background check prior to hire, to include a sex offender registry check; state or tribal criminal history records, including fingerprint checks;
Federal Bureau of Investigation criminal history records, including fingerprint checks; and a child abuse and neglect state registry check, if available.
