A Medical Assistant Instructor cultivates the school's mission and objectives through student instruction, guidance, and review to ensure the successful academic program and personal development of each student.

• Responsible for comprehensive course instruction within the specified program.
• Provide the Program Director/Director of Education with active input in course development (e.g., course descriptions, syllabus creation, textbook material, or equipment review).
• Create and revise daily lesson plans.
• Maintain continued professional growth by attending in‑service training, continuing education seminars, and faculty meetings.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance and academic progress.

• Create a classroom environment that fosters academic growth and guides professional development.
• Keep the Director of Education apprised of student progress, especially regarding performance trends detrimental to educational foundations.
• Provide extra help to students experiencing difficulty mastering course work.
• Advise students on minor problems and refer major issues to the Program Director/Director of Education.
• Correct and return quizzes, tests, and lab assignments within 48 hours.
• Utilize instructional and audiovisual aids, and all available resources in the online environment.
• Demonstrate utilization of community resources by arranging guest speakers, field trips, and community service events.
• Report damaged, broken, or malfunctioning equipment immediately.
• Submit grades within 48 hours of the end of the term.
• Enhance curriculum as necessary, including devising assignments, worksheets, notes, tests, answer keys, and activities.

• Demonstrate knowledge of and follow all applicable federal and state compliance requirements, including those prescribed by the U.S. Department of Education, accrediting agencies, and internal policies.
• Communicate compliance requirements to staff and elevate concerns to the Compliance department.

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Minimum three years of experience in the field.
• Prior teaching experience preferred, but not necessary.
• Medical Assisting certification preferred.

• This is an on‑campus position with occasional remote work.
• Home office setup, a quiet workspace, and ability to hard wire into high‑speed internet may be required.
• May require setup of computer equipment; accommodation consideration available upon request.

Compensation Range: $24 - $28 USD per hour (based on experience and qualifications).
