MS Counseling Adjunct​/Affiliate

Cornerstone University is seeking a part‑time, adjunct or affiliate teaching faculty in MS Counseling beginning Fall 2026. Positions are available for our online graduate program. This is a remote position. Cornerstone is a theologically conservative Christian University located in Grand Rapids, MI. Candidates can look forward to teaching courses in the major. Successful candidates will give evidence of scholarly potential and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in graduate‑level instruction contributing to our Master of Science (MS) program.

• The primary responsibilities of the faculty are teaching, spiritual modeling and mentoring, scholarship, and involvement in and service to Cornerstone and the general community.
• The Cornerstone counseling program provides a Christ‑focused education that is dedicated to smaller class sizes and training of students.
• Experience related to clinical practice or counseling is desirable.
• Our faculty enjoy working together to mentor and teach our eager students the complexities of human thinking and connection with a Christian Worldview.
• A successful candidate will hold a PhD in Counseling Education, a PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy, or be currently enrolled in their doctoral program.

Adjunct/Affiliate pay varies with the number of credits taught, the course modality, and faculty credentials.
