Tutor
Online Learning Coordinator/Executive Functioning Tutor will support middle school students in developing executive‑functioning skills, utilizing technology platforms, and ensuring equitable progress for all students.
Qualifications- Education: Bachelor’s Degree
- Professional Certification: DESE licensure as a teacher preferred
- Specialized Knowledge: Understanding adolescent development, best instructional practices, and commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice principles
- Preferred Experience: Experience working with students and technology, including students with disabilities/special abilities, English learners, and proficiency with Google Suite and Power School
- Skills: Demonstrated aptitude for instructional work, bilingual skills (especially Spanish and Portuguese), strong written and verbal communication, strong interpersonal skills, passion for working with students, families, and colleagues, flexibility, collaboration, multitasking in a fast‑paced environment, and organizational time‑management

- Produce weekly or biweekly detailed progress reports for students
- Assist students with individual questions to clarify presented information
- Analyze MCAS results to individualize curriculum based on performance
- Maintain accurate records and post student grades
- Establish effective working relationships with classroom teachers, specialists, and administration
- Maintain ethical behavior and confidentiality consistent with certified teachers
- Inform parents and guidance counselors of student progress
- Identify and address bias impacting rigor and opportunities
- Administer screener/informal assessment tools or train teachers to deliver assessments
- Provide targeted Executive Functioning instruction during RTI blocks with lesson planning and ongoing progress monitoring via goal attainment plans
- Collaborate with teaching team to determine student skill deficits in Executive Functioning
- Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, counselors, and related service providers to align interventions with classroom expectations
- Participate in team meetings, student support meetings, and MTSS discussions as appropriate
- Any other duties assigned as necessary
Physical Requirements
