Position Overview

LISA Academy’s Hybrid/Online Campus is seeking dynamic, student-centered educators to join our Elementary Teacher Pool (Grades K–5) for the 2026–2027 school year.

This position follows a hybrid work schedule
, with teachers working remotely on Mondays and on campus Tuesday–Friday
. Our instructional model is primarily online
, with structured on-site learning opportunities for students throughout the week
. Teachers support students in both virtual and in-person settings, providing targeted instruction, intervention, and relationship-building.

Under the supervision of the School Principal, the Elementary Teacher will implement district-approved curriculum, monitor student progress, and create a flexible, engaging learning environment that meets the needs of all learners.

Work Schedule
  • Monday: Remote (planning, grading, virtual communication, and instruction)
  • Tuesday–Friday: On-site (student support, instruction, interventions, and campus-based learning opportunities)
Key Responsibilities Instruction & Curriculum
  • Deliver instruction aligned to district curriculum and Arkansas state standards within an online learning model
  • Support and facilitate student learning during on-site instructional opportunities and interventions
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, including students with special needs
  • Develop lesson plans and instructional materials that support both virtual and in-person learning
Student Learning & Assessment
  • Monitor and assess student progress through online platforms and in-person interactions
  • Use data to adjust instruction and provide targeted support
  • Administer required district and state assessments
  • Maintain accurate records of grades, attendance, and student performance
Classroom Environment & Culture
  • Foster a safe, structured, and engaging learning environment in both virtual and on-site settings
  • Promote responsible citizenship and positive student behavior
  • Establish expectations that support student success in a blended learning environment
Collaboration & Communication
  • Communicate regularly with students, families, and administration
  • Support families in navigating the online learning model
  • Collaborate with grade-level teams and support staff
  • Participate in faculty meetings, professional learning communities, and committees
Professional Growth
  • Engage in professional development focused on online and blended instruction
  • Reflect on instructional practices and pursue continuous improvement
Additional Responsibilities
  • Supervise students during on-site learning opportunities and school-day activities
  • Maintain instructional materials and classroom resources
  • Perform other duties as assigned by school leadership
Technology & Tools
  • Utilize learning management systems, student information systems, and digital instructional platforms
  • Use standard office and classroom technology
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Strong understanding of elementary pedagogy (K–5) in an online or blended environment
  • Ability to differentiate instruction based on student needs
  • Skill in using data to drive instructional decisions
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage time and responsibilities in a hybrid work structure
  • Comfort integrating technology into daily instruction
Qualifications Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field (required)
  • Master’s degree (preferred)
Licensure
  • Valid Arkansas Elementary Teaching License (required)
  • Appropriate grade-level certification preferred
Experience
  • Prior elementary teaching experience preferred
  • Experience with online, blended, or virtual instruction is a plus
Work Environment
  • Combination of remote and on-site work
  • Standard school environment with occasional travel for meetings or professional development
