As an Orientation Leader, you will play a pivotal role in fostering transformative experiences for new students s position supports and guides students through their college journey, promoting personal growth, academic success, and community involvement. The position will focus its efforts during the Fall 2026 and Spring 2027 Orientation, with optional opportunities over the Summer of 2026.
Responsibilities- Serve others while developing leadership and mentorship skills.
- Make a meaningful impact on the campus community through service to others.
- Gain valuable experience in program development and student engagement.
- Network opportunities with faculty, staff, and fellow student leaders.
- Work long hours, engage in serious conversations, and apply empathy to support peers.

Applicant must be enrolled as a UAF student taking at least 6 credits per semester with a minimum GPA of 2.0 or higher, or a newly enrolled student.
Position DetailsThis part‑time, non‑exempt student position is located on the Troth Yeddah’ campus in Fairbanks, Alaska. Salary will be based on the UA Student Salary Schedule. The position is pooled and applications are reviewed as needed; submission does not guarantee review or a job offer.
Employees may be required to work on‑site at UA facilities. Hybrid and remote work may be approved for employees based in Alaska at the University's discretion; remote work for employees outside Alaska may be approved only in exceptional circumstances.
