Eaton's Critical Power Solutions (CPS) Division is current seeking a Service Training Specialist to join our team. This position is a hybrid position based in Raleigh, NC (3 days in office / 2 days home office).

Eaton is a leading supplier of mission critical power distribution, static switching, and power monitoring equipment that ensure reliability in the most demanding applications for data centers, industrial and commercial customers.

The Service Training Specialist will be an integral part of our Training team for the CPS business. In this role, the Service Training Specialist will be responsible for developing, delivering and facilitating instructor led and virtual CPS Service field trainings to both internal and external customers.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $86,000 - $126,000 a year.

What you'll do:

* Responsible for the development, delivery, and facilitation of instructor-led and virtual CPS Service Field trainings.

* Contributing member of the CPS training department, supporting and coordinating training events, including but not limited to, set-up, scheduling, travel, equipment, and material needs in conjunction with training coordinators and other personnel.

* Create, maintain, and update curricula, lesson plans, and classroom reference materials.

* Responsible for student evaluations, course evaluations, cost tracking, and continuous improvement efforts within training programs

* Expected to apply knowledge of safe electrical work practices as described in National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) standard 70E and OSHA 1910 Subpart S.

* Instruct, and demonstrate expertise, around the commissioning and maintenance of Critical Power Solutions products, including but not limited to Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), Power Distribution Units (PDUs).

* Collaborate cross functionally to develop customer training programs and opportunities.

* Must be actively pursuing BA with a graduation date no later than Spring 2027

* Minimum of (4) years of experience evaluating, testing, installing, and/or maintaining industrial and commercial power systems equipment OR two (2) years technical teaching experience

You will set yourself apart by demonstrating some or all of the following:

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

* Seven (7) years of experience evaluating, testing, installing, or maintaining industrial and commercial power systems equipment.

* In-depth knowledge of NFPA 70E and OSHA practices as related to electrical industry and safety standards

Keys to role success:

* Anticipated travel 10% of the time.

* Ability to lift, move and set up demonstration equipment of various weight up to 40 pounds and move demonstration equipment on wheels weighing in excess of 40 pounds.

* Knowledge and understanding of classroom presentation and instructional methods, technical writing skills, and an understanding of adult learning styles.

* Professional presence and an ability to build rapport with a variety of personalities in multiple levels of the organization.

* Excellent communication skills, organizational and time management abilities.

* Proficiency in the tools required for the development of new training materials including Microsoft platforms, learning management systems, and electrical system software.
