Job Description andPosition Requirements
The Stuckeman School in the College of Arts and Architecture is seeking a part-time student communications intern to fill a writing intensive position for the 2026-27 academic year that will support the school’s Marketing and Communications Office.
Hours:
12-14 hours per week. Pay: starting at $14 per hour.
- Research and write feature stories and news releases on school people, programs, alumni, and accomplishments.
- Craft social media posts to promote those stories.
- Solid writing, reporting, and interviewing skills and strong attention to detail.
- Dependable, flexible, and organized; possess solid oral communications skills; and demonstrate a strong sense of accountability.
- Third- or fourth-year journalism or public relations student enrolled in the Bellisario College of Communications at Penn State.
- Successfully completed the writing course COMM 260W; courses in advanced writing and editing desirable.
