Playground Monitor

The Playground Monitor ard Majella Catholic School is responsible for supervising students during recess and outdoor activities to ensure a safe, positive, and respectful environment. This role supports student well-being while promoting appropriate behavior and reinforcing the values of Catholic education.

• Supervise students during recess and outdoor play to ensure safety at all times
• Monitor student behavior and encourage positive, respectful interactions
• Enforce playground rules and school policies consistently
• Address minor conflicts and promote conflict resolution among students
• Report any injuries, incidents, or concerns to school staff promptly
• Assist with transitions to and from recess
• Ensure playground equipment is used safely and appropriately
• Maintain awareness of all students on the playground at all times
• Model Christian values and respectful behavior in all interactions

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Experience working with children preferred
• Ability to supervise large groups of students effectively
  
  Strong communication, observation, and interpersonal skills
• Dependable, attentive, and proactive in ensuring student safety
• Commitment to supporting a faith-based school environment
