College Lecturer
Adjunct Faculty – Microbiology (Temporary, Part‑time, Course‑by‑Course). The position is appointed on a semester basis, teaching developmental or college‑level courses, including distance‑learning courses weekdays and weekends. Primarily face‑to‑face with possibility of remote instruction.
Responsibilities- Teach developmental and college‑level courses in Microbiology, including distance‑learning instruction.
- Assist the agency in the event of an emergency declaration by the Governor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Master’s degree in Microbiology or related field with at least 18 graduate hours in Microbiology to teach credit‑level coursework.
- Two years of teaching experience or equivalent work experience in the field and experience with online teaching.
- Expert skills, knowledge, experience, and education in the subject area and a history of successful teaching or related experience.
- Cannot be considered if requiring immigration sponsorship.
No travel or vehicle operation required. No supervisory responsibilities. Position may include weekend or evening teaching.
